U12 & 14 GIRLS vs U12G In2Hockey Hampshire Round

We had a brilliant tournament today in Basingstoke, coming out with a 9th place overall out of 13 teams from across Hampshire. I think everyone played their absolute best, and worked really hard to achieve this outcome. Considering that we had never played together before as an U12s team, we exceeded expectations by doing as well as we did.

I think everyone played so well today that every team member is a player of the match this week. Rebecca - for a great goal and excellent positioning, Evie - for persistent defending and not being afraid to tackle, Emily - for outstanding saves (coaches from other teams commented on how good you were), Willow - for good tackling skills and defending, Phoebe - for good clearance in the D and perseverance, Sophia - for working well with the players around you, Sylvia - for good positioning in the D and finding space, Pippa - for excellent ball skills and control, and last but by no means least, Lola - for being everywhere all at once. Also, a massive shoutout to Chris R for umpiring and coaching, and to all the supporting parents who gave up the best part of their Sundays to be there! I hope everyone had fun today, and I think the U12s squad for next season is looking really promising. Once again, everyone played so well and we should all be extremely proud of ourselves.
