Difficult game for our squad of just 10 players this morning, which resulted in the majority of play being in our defensive half. The girls showed great resilience and didn't give up despite being a player down, and managed not to concede a goal during the first 15 minutes. Pippa was borrowed from a younger squad to play in goal for us today, and after some superb saves was awarded player of the match, along with Millie. Big shout out to Evie in her first game for New Forest today - a baptism of fire! - but she didn't seem fazed and took it all in her stride, confidently receiving and passing out on the wing. Also a huge well done to Erin for scoring our only goal in such a tricky game. Well done girls, it is a shame the score didn't reflect how hard you all fought.
